Pizza Explorer

Pizza Explorer teaches food science and the chemistry of food components through interactive, hands-on activities. The program can be used in conjunction with the Food Chemistry Experiment series.

In Pizza Explorer, students will learn about:

  • the history of pizza
  • the ingredients used to make pizza
  • the food processing and chemistry of those ingredients
  • the nutritional composition of pizza
